Transmission Cover Cage Nuts

Post by earlymopar »

I removed the transmission cover on my Series 1 Utiline and 1/2 of the Cage nuts that hold the cover broke at the cage during removal (the cage is the sheet metal retainer that is part of the nut and retains the nut to the floor sheet metal)). Since the holes are designed to fit the Mopar cage nut, what have the members here used who have experienced the same problem?

That is what I replaced my damaged originals on 3 different Swepty's. 5/16-18 cage nuts....worked great. :Thumbsup
