Rare paint option?
Hello! Anyone have any knowledge on this paint scheme? It's factory paint, and two of these trucks were available new from the dealership in Newton, IL. One version was this long bed, and there was also a short bed sold there. There seems to be absolutely nothing out there with any info on this option and we're trying to find anything we can. VIN is D14BE6S247102, it's a 1976. Thanks!!

Re: Rare paint option?
Not really a factory paint option. This was more of an aftermarket paint work. Those "Mural" paint jobs were pretty popular back in those days. It IS amazing that it has held up all these years though!

They're were many dealer specific promotions throughout North America. I think you will find that truck was one of them and not actually a Dodge truck option. This might be a question to ask on one of the 72 to 93 truck specific sites. Facebook has a few of them.
My truck is younger than me.

Does your truck still have the under-hood sticker with all the options? If it was factory it would be listed on there, but like others have said it is probably aftermarket/dealer installed.
