D300 fenders on D100

Post by WOIV »

I was wondering if anyone had put a set of D300 fenders on their D100 to make it look lower? It appears that the wheel opening on the D300 fender is not as large as the one on a D100. Any thoughts?

It will bolt on, but u will have to deal with the flare at the back where it ties in and bolts to the running board.

Could you just skip having a running board and have the flare end at the bottom of the fender? I was thinking this may give the truck a kind of wide body look that mite be cool. I saw a picture of a slammed ute with these front fenders and it looked kind of cool.

Front lower edge is exactly the same. On D100/200 it sits behind the bumper. On 300+ it is where the valance piece bolts on.

Kind of like this but with a sweptline bed and smaller wheels.
