windshield

Post by Jim100 »

I know that a local windshield shop will be able to get a windshield for my 66. Will they also be able to get the rubber parts or should I track that stuff down?
What is a reasonable cost for the whole operation?
Thanks,
jim

I had my windshield replaced in Loveland CO (Handy Glass) for $220.00. I had to supply the rubber, dont remember where I bought it. Shop around but make sure you get the good stuff because the cheap rubber made over seas is pretty stiff an does not install well.
Untill then swep on, John

I would buy Steele Rubber Products. I like their products but, a little expensive. I have the Fairchild brand and wasn't impressed. Make sure you buy the lock strip.
