crew cab door help

Post by exline »

I am working on a pair of crew cab rear doors and my pattern got messed up . I need the measurement from the bend at the top edge, where the weather strip is ,down to the body line for the front and rear of the door. I think the rear is 10 1/4" but the front is possibly more like 10 5/8" but I am not sure. I know the front and rear of the door may not be the same.
if someone has a crew cab and would not mind getting that measurement for me I would appreciate it.

here is a pic of how i held the tape measure on my messed up door skin.

I came up with 10 3/8" as close to the back of the door as I could get with the door handle in the way and 10 3/4" on the front. I measured the other side and had 1/16" less on both.
