Town Wagon Window Rubber Needed (All Windows)

Post by maxmac »

I'm in need of the window seals for the 2 rear windows on the back doors, the 2 side windows on each side (the sliders, not solid glass) and the belt line and window channel felt for both front doors on my '66 Town Wagon. These are different than the '61-'71's ..... I checked Steele's and Restoration Specialties websites and am not seeing what I need..,

Any Town Wagon owners had to locate these parts??? If so, your advice and resources are warranted!!!! Thanks in advance!

Did you look at Danno http://www.dannoenterprises.com I don't know anything about them but, found their site searching for beltline. I was looking for the rubber and not the fuzzy.

Thanks for the link to the Danno site. Looks like I'll be able to find the window channel and beltline that I need to finish the doors off. I did find Clester's Auto (http://www.clestersauto.com/Pages/DodgeTrucks.aspx) for the window seals for the sides and rear. Had exactly what I needed, a bit pricey though.

Thanks again for the resource!

If you haven't already looked, try rockauto.com.

I have bought a few sets of the Fairchild from rockauto. The 1970 D200 I just bought has rubber beltline aka window sweeps. The Fairchild are fuzzy. The rubber on the 70 , what's left, looks original.

Anybody know the correct material for a 1970?

I know Restoration Specialites and Clester's both stock kits and parts for the '61-'71 Sweptline pickups. The kits I bought from Clester's Auto for my Town Wagon were spot on, including all rubber seals and the correct window channels for the sliding side windows.
