Wheel color

Post by 66patrick »

Does anyone know WITH CERTAINTY (as in providing proof with the answer!) what the wheel color would be on a 1968 D100 without the full wheel covers???

I've seen an off-white, and I've seen black for '68. What say you? Anyone with dealer brochures that can scan and post them???

I have never seen a 68 d100 in a sales brochure that didn't have full size wheel covers. The 68 d100s I have seen that appeared stock had black wheels. I don't have a lick of proof...
I sold all of my sweptline trucks, except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!

Per the Bunn book... Off white. Page 155, factory photo of 1968 partial model line.

Dodge truck white 65-71, Ditzler paint code 8358. Slightly gray cast, interior and exterior use.
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.

1949 Dodge B1B-108; 1969 D100-128; 72 Super Beetle; and a bunch of others...
