I have a rotisserie at the shop for the D100 project. The floors, front cab mounts and inner rockers are in bad bad shape. The rear cab mounts are solid though.

I want to put the cab on a rotisserie to make the floor work somewhat easier. I've seen two ways: 1) posts front and rear mounted and the front and rear cab mounts. the cab can then rotate along the long axis. 2) arms mounted at the door hinges and striker plate area. Cab rotates @#% over head.

I'm thinking the door mount is my only option as the front cab mounts are gone.

Anyone rotisserie mount such a rotted cab???????????? Looking for suggestions to make it an easier and safer install. TIA

You may be able to bolt it at the hood hinge bolts on the firewall.

couldwork. But they are only rivet nuts into single thickness sheetmetal, yes? I''m worried about distorting that interface.

I still have the glass, dash and column in the cab. That adds some weight for sure.

I need a measurement for the width of the doorjambs to make sure Its in the right place before fixing the metal. can anyone provide a door jamb measurement and referene points?
