ok does anyone know exactly what these mirrors are? can i buy the mirror head anywhere? my one is cracked and they are both loose and i can't seem to get them tightened up.

Look like some form of period aftermarket . If the mirror glass is broken just go to an automotive glass guy and have him cut some new pieces. Easy Peesy :thinking .

yea i thought about a local glass place but the heads are loose and have no more adjustment.. they rattle and are annoying. the cracked drivers side one looks like it was replaced at one time and looks to me missing trim.

You can buy new ones at any parts store. Common as dirt. Have a set in the shed that was used to move cross country. Took them off when we got here and left them to rot away.

Wife tends to break them off on trees, bank drive up window pillars. :lol:

The adjustment threads are a joke. Just wind pressure from driving can strip them out. I used one base and an old Harley mirror on my truck, works fine.
