Door length

Post by poorboy4wd »

Can someone measure the length of their 61-66 doors at the very bottom and at the body line. (Front to back) I've read that the only difference was the striker and handles but the 67? (Not totally sure on year) doors on my 66 cab never seemed to fit right, other than the obvious striker plate area. Always tight at the front by the cowl and fender and super tight at the rear where they meet the cabs rear pillar. My buddy measured his 71 doors and he says they are 40 and 3/8". Il have to measure mine when I get to the shop in the morning to cross reference.
Hand me my hat. Excuse me man, where's the door

They are absolutely, exactly the same size on every swept 61-71, every model 100-800.

the doors should be 40 3/8 on all 1961-71 dodge pickups from the bottom up to the body line.
