Looking for a picture of the nut clip that goes at the top of the fender. The one that is bolted from the inside of the cab. This clip seems different from the others. I broke the bolt when removing the fender and have no idea where the clip went. thanx

it's not a clip. it' a rectangular nut that stay on the bolt. you have to turn it so the nut catches the inside of the fender, which I rectangular like the nut. you have to turn the bolt so the nut is in the vertical position. you can't see it so you just have to feel when it catches. Ozzie.

The factory "Nut" is tack welded into the fender. It's just a square nut... nothing special. You can use any 5/16" nut but you need to weld it into that area of the fender. Hope the pic. helps!

I ran into this issue a few weeks ago while putting my fender back on. I'll include I picture of what the square nut looks like. I didn't like the thought of re-using this, it would seem almost impossible to align the nut and bolt.
I used a spring nut and grinded it as small as I could get it and put it in to the pocket. The spring tension holds the nut in place, and I used a stainless bolt and fender washer.
