Hood safety latch

Post by marklein »

What year did the safety latch appear on the dodge trucks? The rad support in my d100 was from a 68, and I had to add the safety latch to use the 70 hood. Just wondering.

My 69 has it. So maybe it came with the hood style change?

What's the hood safety latch look like? Can it be adapted to earlier hoods?
