Well I cannot locate any large lower trim clips for my 1970 D100, so I am seeking ideas for how to reattach my lower trim.
I have all the clips that were on the trim when I removed them for body and paint work but most of the upper "antenna" pieces broke off because of brittleness due to old age.
So what has anyone used for a method to get the trim securely mounted without functional trim tabs?
Our best plan so far is to use the clips for bottom alignment and then use an adhesive sealant to secure the trim trim into place.
If anyone has a better idea that worked for them, please share your experience.
Thank you.

Re: No Large Lower Trim Clips to be found - Plan B
Update on Trim Clips.
We went for plan B which was to use what we had in conjunction with adhesive sealant. Even with the top antennas broken off, most of clips still had enough grip to hold the trim.
In the places that did not snug up, we used the adhesive and clamps to secure and they are on and snug.
Thank all that helped. I think there is a market for these clips.

Has anyone tried having them made with a 3D printer?
I have no idea about the cost though.

I see that home use 3 D printers are now available and not overly expensive.
My truck is younger than me.
