Top of fender bolts, need help

Post by DukePW »

I need a little help since my hard drive crashed and I lost all my pictures of disassembling my truck....

The top three holes on the fender (fender's upside down of course) do the bolts use regular nuts? or do they use the nut clips like the other holes in this fender use? Also any pictures of this area installed on truck would be appreciated.

Thanks

The top two bolts would go in from the front through the rad support. You would use a "Speed nut Clip" on the fender. The others go from the fender and bolt to the support. The support already has nuts welded to the area where the bolt comes through. See the pic of my parts truck. MOPAR did NOT use... regular "Nuts". They always used the clip on type.

Forgot to mention about the bolts that go down the "side" of the support. The FENDER has the clips and the bolts go through the support into the clip on the fender.

Glad to hear you still have it. Those pics did come from the CD... but they weren't "next" to each other in the same folders... if you know what I mean. Anyway... glad to help out! I just "scroll and search" through the small images until I see something 'close' to what I'm looking for. :salut
