64/67 Grill swap

Post by ndlionsfan »

Looking at buying a 67 camper special, but do not like the front end look during those years. Already have an old 64 D100 utiline that needs a ton of work. Thinking about parting that one out, but using the headlights and grill to switch over to the 67 because I like the four eye look. Is this easy enough to do between these two years?

AND offer up the 67 grill parts in their entirety through the classifieds here. Penance for preferring the 4 eyed trucks.

I'd love to swap the grill and hood from my 69 out for 65.5-67 pieces. 68/69 are tolerable, but the 65.6-67 is the cream of the crop looks wise. Best grills, louver styled hood, the good dash instead of the 69-71 flat top...

Do have to admit that the very scarce W300 short Uteline with a 251 L6 is on my "must track down" list...
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.

1949 Dodge B1B-108; 1969 D100-128; 72 Super Beetle; and a bunch of others...
