Help with fender braces.

Post by my5thmopar »

I have collected these braces. I think I can figure out which one goes where. I'm not sure whether these are actually Sweptline.

From left to right. 1 and 2 are the same. Number 3 and 4 are the same. Front fenders?

What about the mismatched rest of the stuff 3,6,7, any of them for the rear Utiline fenders? Thanks Craig

That would be nice post up or PM details. Maybe someone will chime in and let us know if they recognize any of these. CRaig

I believe the first 2 are from the radiator support to the fender.

I looked at pics of my truck and the braces on the BED are "Flat stock". Now.... I am not sure if that is because mine is a shortbed or not. I will have to double check tomorrow for the front fender.

rear fender brace... These would be the long ones with curved ends.
The long ones with straight ends are for front of front fenders, short for rear of front fenders.
I sold all of my sweptline trucks, except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!

But you don't have a Utiline either.

You're right, mine is the WIDE body. I NEED to learn to pay attention to what I read better. :thinking ANYWAY... as for the front fender braces.... Short one is "ABOUT" 5 3/4" AND the long one is "ABOUT" 12". see photos OH as for that light.... that is one of those marker lights from the B Body Chargers. Nope... not hooked up.
