Was not too bad. The original glove box took a beating though trying to remove it. It was brittle anyway. It is the funky notched dash. I would have rather had the normal one but you get what you get. It is in pretty good shape. It sure sucked up the VLR I used on it after I used the interior detailer. Overall very happy, I don't have to look at the huge cracks and craters anymore. I also got the clips for the sunvisors and installed those too. Now I just need a cover for the seat but that will come after I get the wheel project done. Baby steps.

Nice. I like it. Its a great feeling to get something completed on these trucks!

Re: Installed the dash
Looks good. What do you mean by "notched" dash? That looks like the dash in my 69, but, you have the better looking small gauge surround, my truck has the ugly long one that goes past the radio and heat/defrost controls, and is notched out to fit a modern CD deck.
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.

Re: Installed the dash
Look at the top picture closely. The dash pad is from a larger truck that had a larger steering wheel. Instead of being straight all the way across the dash, there is an indent right where the instrument cluster is, that goes all the way to the driver's side end of the dash pad.WD wrote:Looks good.
