Mirror Posts...Going Price

Post by 40YearOldFury »

Hey guys,
What is the going rate for the single stem mirror posts these days per set? I have seen some ridiculous prices on Ebay for a single mirror and stem for $285 but what are the real prices like? I have a set and a guy locally wants to buy them. Want to give him a fair price but don't want to take Xmas $$$ from my baby! lol I'm guessing $200 for the set????

I'd say $75 per stem isn't gouging the local buyer if they're in decent shape. :2cents :Thumbsup

Whatever you'd expect to pay to replace them. I always keep an extra set of the hard to find parts myself.

I sold a set at Carlisle last summer for $70. I had blasted them and painted them white and included the hardware.

An old auto parts guy I knew would always say "did you ever try to make one of those?" every time we'd complain about something being priced too high. I think he was right. You can't just go to the store and pick those up whenever you want , so that makes them worth something. :2cents Randy
