Sun Visor confusion which one?

Post by my5thmopar »

This is probably a newbie question but, hey gotta learn sometime. It seems my 64 D100 Utiline has one sun visor LH side. The current visor doesn't have any protrusion but, the cab has a factory looking hole behind visor. The left one came with the truck and I bought the other two. Are any of these original style and what were they for? Craig

The middle one looks like a Sweptline one to me. The others I don't recognize.

Middle one should work. Send me the black base one, it looks like Pilot House or Power Giant era, so 48-60... and I have a 49 1/2 ton. The other offset mount may be correct for 1st generation (4 headlight), I KNOW the middle one is like my 69 takes.

The one on the left (black one) is correct for your truck. Starting in 1968 would be the middle style. I don't know about the one on the right.

What you cite above is what I have on the pivot end of my 1968 W200. Yet on the mirror end I have these clips which look different than what I have found in searches here.

The rubber pin on the ends of mine are toast. The clips are way too brittle to keep (one is cracked). Got any ideas how to replace these?

Would it be possible for a 1967 dodge truck to have one sunviser driver side it has three screw holes and one for the rod but on the passenger side there’s no holes at all for one on passenger side

My Early 1965 has the kind on the left. The drivers side had a hold behind the base like something should protrude through it, but the passenger side just has the three mounting screw holes.
