Hello all.
longtime reader and daily driver.
there seems to be at least three styles of wiper arm, is this correct?
there seems to be two different sized splined "nuts" with tapered interior splines, and third arm style that negates the use of these.
also, straight arms with an angle adjuster, or pre bent left and right wipers.
sooooo, when were these different styles in use, and has anyone found one to function better than the others?
thanks in advance

PS for wideblock trey: New Paint and bodywork happening right now. ill post pix

Re: Wiper Arms
My 69 has the straight splines, I run a set of 1972 F-250 wiper arms with 11" or 12" wiper heads. Wouldn't run the stock ones again for love or money. Hard to find, kinda fragile. You can get the Ford ones anywhere (same arms from 67-at least 86).

Re: Wiper Arms
I have s 70 d200. Check anco. Not sure of the part number but they have aftermarket wiper arms that fit our trucks. Each arm came with a splined insert depending if you need to use it or not. I think it was about 15 bucks for arm. I'll try and see if I can find the part number.

Anco 41-03 adjustable wiper arm.
Re: Wiper Arms
Wiper arms underwent a design change in '69. Something to keep in mind.
