61-67 hood on 70 front clip?

Will a 61-67 hood fit on a 70 front clip with 70 grille? Or do I need to find a 68 hood?

It should fit, you may have to replace the hood latch on your rad support though. You'll also have the raised outer edges on the front lower lip which may look a bit funky with a 68-up grille.
If you want the early hood look with a late grille your best bet is a 68 hood as it has a straight front lip to match the later grilles.

Thanks for the reply, I found a picture of 68 with a 61-67 hood and didn't like the way it looked at all. Need to look for a 68 hood now!
