Engine Compartment Splash things

Post by SqDeal »

What is the proper name for the splash shield things in the engine compartment?
The flexible fiber board pieces that chip on the frame and body.
Is there anyone who reproduces them?
Is that material available so a DIY-er could make them?

Maybe you mean the shock seals?

This place apparently has them, I have never used his products:

I just ordered a pair yesterday from https://www.dodgeconnection.com/catalog ... 678964.htm. For $12.95 for a pair, I can't fool around cutting them out of a sheet.
