can someone measure 68 & 69 front lenses 4 me?

6.92" length x 2.38" width x 0.94" height

dang out-of-country-ins with their metric ways.

does this look correct? im thinking height is at the lowest edge.

Length=6 3/4 inches, width=2 1/4 inches and middle thickness is 7/8 of an inch. Jim

I just seen this post...

OH well... Anyone ever see the CLEAR 68 69 lens? I have seen ONE clear one for sale one time. BUT, NEVER seen clear ones on a truck.

Jims68 that is what I took measurements of. I bought them about a month ago thinking they were clear for a 70. So if you need clear ones I've got a set I will sell. Jim

Son-of-a, Jim if you pass PLEASE let me know. Thats the ones i was looking at on Ebag trying to figure out what the measurements were, so if you pass i will buy these. the item ended before i could verify measurements. the shipping is a little pricey though.

OH... sorry for any confusion, I DO NOT want the clear lenses. I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen them on a 68 or 69. That is all, by all means, contact JimE for them.

The clear lenses were available in north america.Just a matter if you ordered them.
The part number is in the U.S. and Canadian parts book.

I happened to remember to measure an Orange original lense from a 69. The length is 6 7/8 inches, the width is 2 5/16 inches at center and 2 3/8 at the ends and the height is 15/16 at center. I don't know if it tapers in the center or if it happened from age and use.
