Post by joshmeacham »

Did all trucks come with tail light trim? I have a 71swb...doesn't look bad without it....just wondering what 'came' on them. Anybody have a set ??

I think it was an Adventure trim package. The three adventures I've had had it and my dodge Dude has it. My two other drivers also have it but i added those pieces.

I have 4 sets. http://www.sweptlineparts.com/display.p ... =EXTTR0001

Scott
Question for ya....BEFORE I start on this project and break something.
I seem to recall a discussion a few years back that the trim just has to be pried out ( slowly and CAREFULLY of course ).
Is this correct OR is my memory defective yet again??

Yes that is how i do it.

Just take your time and TRY to save the little clips that go into the body that hold the trim on. Granted they are not needed, but i'd use them if i had them. I have installed them without the little clips. Just drill the hole smaller and wedge them in LOL!

Okay, I can't pass on this! How do you drill a hole smaller? Every time I try to drill out a hole it just makes it bigger! LOL Mike
