What glue is best for weatherstripping doors

I'm ready to install the weatherstrip on the doors, I have 3M's Super weatherstrip Adhesive but was wondering what is better. Jim

That is what I've always used, I understand it now comes in black & not that yellow.
Just foolow the directions, be good to have an extra pair of hands, not required but it helps.

I looked at the local parts houses and all I could find was the yellow adhesive. Anyway looks like its the way to go, thanks. Jim

That is the good stuff, but it gets ugly fast if you aren't careful.
I have used it and it is very good, VERY STICKY! 3M also makes
a black product just called Weather Strip Adhesive, no Super.

I have some other black stuff I used on my Crew Cab, after the
yellow was getting a little ugly. I think it might have been from
Permatex?? It seems to be working good.

The trick is to work in small sections, about 12 inches a time has
worked good for me.
