door adjustment
I switched out my doors to a nicer set, but it sure is a pain to get them adjusted, any easy method to use or just keep moving them around to you get them to close properly????
Re: door adjustment
When i remove a door i know I'm putting back on i leave the hinges bolted into the cab and remove the door from the hinge. If you did remove the hinges from the cab here is what i do.
Bolt up the hinges in to the cab and try your best to put the hinge in the same spot as before. You will see where the bolt/washer marks are.
Remove the door panels and lower access panel on the door. The six bolts that secure the hinge to the door. Loosen all of them up. Then shut the door completely and have someone hold the door square if needed (normally not needed). Normally it will line up with the latch.
Crawl through the opposite side and tighten up the 6 bolts you loosened. That should get you real close or completely lines up.

Re: door adjustment
I replaced the hinge and door on the passenger side and on the drivers side I left the original hinge on and placed the new door on the hinge which is much closer in alignment than the passenger side. Your idea sure sounds simple, I wish I would have thought of it. I will have to try it out, thanks !!!!!!!
