attaching rubber door moldings
attaching rubber door moldings
what is the best glue to use to attach the rubber door moldings. I purchased a new set and will be installing them afther the doors are painted. It will be on a 1965 D-200. I also have the inside and outside moldings that go next to the sliding side windows. The originals were installed with clips but the clips have long rusted away. Any suggestions on the side moldings.

If you talking about the weatherstrips,I have had great success with 3M weatherstrip adhesive.Get the black stuff so any oozing will not stand out.

Wasn't this discussed awhile back and concluded that the yellow glue was stronger over the course of time??
I have been using the yellow, while you do have to be more careful, it sure seems very permanent.

That is why they call the "Yellow" glue SUPER WEATHERSTRIP ADHESIVE. Made by 3Mnfury8 wrote:Wasn't this discussed awhile back and concluded that the yellow glue was stronger over the course of time??
