How difficult to take the dash out of a 70 d100? Any advice?

I took mine off with no problem. It has about 8-10 phillips screws 6 or 8 on top right underneath the windshield, you will need a long extention to get them, and 2 on each side on the front. Shoot some WD-40 or B-12 Chemtool release agent on the BEFORE you start. Your'e really "screwed" if you don't. All the pieces come of pretty easy too. There is a brace behind the ashtray, remember to get that. Very easy to paint and re-install.

Pulled it off earlier today, piece of cake, if I had known it was that easy would've done it long ago. Also helpful is the old trick of put the screwdriver in the screw and hit it with a hammer a couple of times to loosen the threads up, they break loose easier. :salut
