Horn Button for White Steering Wheel

Post by PatS »

I came across a white steering wheel for my D300 today, but it's missing the center medalion/button. Does anyone have one for sale or a pic of what it looks like???
The horn ring looks familiar like it was used on other cars and trucks, will any others fit?

Are these white wheels rare? They sure look nice in place.

Thanks

Here is a pic of what it looks like. Yes the white steering wheel is rare. Especially one that looks like yours; no cracks and appears to have little weathering... Nice find!!

Thanks Scott. I don't think it's a 62, but looks like it would fit.
BUT, for $49 bucks?? Are they really that rare???
Maybe I'll have to whittle one up during this cold snap (will be daytime HIGH of 13f today...high of -7f by Thursday...good Hot Toddy and whittlin' weather  )

Chrome is perfect, and the plastic center cap looks perfect too. It might be hard to find another one like that. $49 is a little high but NOS parts for Sweptlines are getting harder to find. Christmas is coming you know. Just buy it and call it a Christmas present to yourself.

Yea the white steering wheel in good shape is kinda rare..

That center looks different on top, but the mounting looks the same. The one i took off my '67 didn't look like that either.

Does the center cap look like the one pictured above on the black truck?
