Are you into collecting literature for these trucks?
There are pics in there of patterns.
The sales brochure's are not to hard to find.
If you had wanted '69 I could've helped.

Thanks anyway.

I have the sales brochures...but the images are small...

I was hoping that some folks have original to photograph and post.

Please,

Thanks.

Not the best picture, but this is an original seat from 1971. This is I guess the regular seat version, just a basic black on black.

This is a picture of the seat I had redone for my D300. This is a seat look you would find in the custom cab models. I think the cloth is a little different then the original, but its fairly close.

Hopefully this we'll at least give you a few ideas.

Good images and thanks for the effort to post these.

The bottom is for sure the right pattern/wrong material for the 1970-1971 "Custom" seat design.

Can you please show the material on the top image up close...and is that original?

TOP IMAGE....Is it the standard seat, and are the inserts vinyl or cloth?

I have learned a lot about this...and have obtained enough of the original seat fabric/vinyl in order to properly restore my seats back to as close to factory as possible from photographs.

Thanks.

Here's the '69 sheet you pm'd me about.
You can add red into the mix if it's a Canadian build.

Only the one insert material for the "Custom" seat design changed from 1969 to 1970.

Thanks so much for posting that...

Here are three pages out of a dealer’s sales info binder. Note the different material patterns and the Adventurer / Custom models have a different fabric cut that covered the upright seat support bolts

:greatpost

Thanks so much!

Any more info on the dealer sales info binder...such as...

Is this something the salesman would share with a truck buyer at the time of ordering...so that choice could be made for color and package?

Where did you ever come up with that binder...where do I get one ??? like that's possible :pale

The binders show up on ebay once in a while.
With the internet it's so much easier to check with the many literature dealers out there.

Here's what my '69 book looks like.
