I haven't looked yet, maybe one of you has already looked into this.
Can i swap the bottom rear seat with the bottom front seat in a '70 crew cab?

Re: Crew Cab Seats
Yes!
The cushions on the rear seats are the same as the fronts.
The front sliders bolt to the same brackets that are used to
mount the rear seats to the cab floor. That is why the front
and rear mounts on the floor are different.

Re: Crew Cab Seats
Good deal. The uppers are also the same. Although I haven't
looked close enough to see if the holes for the sheet metal
back on the front seat were pre drilled, or drilled upon installing.
My guess is the back was probably installed with self tapping
screws during assembly.

Re: Crew Cab Seats
I know this is cheap... but the back seat in the '68 crew i have is in great shape. I might just take the back seat in my '70, move it to the front and take the '68 rear seat and put it in the back of my '70.

Re: Crew Cab Seats
Ya got to do what ya got to do!
The Rear seats in my Fury were awful for years. My friends used bug me to
fix them. But I would point out, A) I don't ride back there, B) It was their idea
to go in my convertible instead of their econo junk, C) Where is my gas money?!?
Didn't take long till they learned to keep quiet.

Cheap? I thought that was the point of owning more than one of these trucks. Mix-n-match to keep on rolling.HellBellyD100 wrote:I know this is cheap... but the back seat in the '68 crew i have is in great shape.
