most people want to get them out of the cab... usually to make room and for safety reasons.

I am looking to put a fuel cell in mine, behind the rear axle, with a filler neck in the bed!

I can get a sendor that will work with the original gage also.

That works fine until you need to use the bed...

It sounds like you're onto a good lead with the sender. Can you share some specs or maybe even a link?

the pick and pulls are getting awfully low on old dodge stuff, I haven't found a decent part in a pick and pull in over five years.

As for the sender, Jaz Products will install, in their pro street fuel cells, a selection of sender, including one that will work with the stock dodge gage.

thats the route I went except I replaced the old gauge with new one, and having the filler in the bed doesn't get in the way, hauled furniture and had no problems, along with tools :Thumbsup then again most of the people that have swepty's are very, very, picky about puttin anything in them :shame

I don't know about that...the basic, weekly mission for our 68 Utiline is trash hauling, dog hauling and shopping runs. I put sideboards and ladder racks on it Saturday and now it is hauling furniture and house hold good from this house to the next, and when we move in the next place, it will be hauling firewood and materials to build a shop!

Last winter, it hauled many cords of wood...
