rocker and floor panels

Post by akayp »

has anybody purchased body parts [rocker panels and/or floor pans] from Auto Body Specialties?
their website indicates the part numbers fit 1956-1971 trucks.

guess i'll need to call someone there...but thought someone might have happened upon this issue....that 1956 trucks have a different form than 1966....

vintage powerwagons says that their floorpans are out of stock...guess ill have to call them too.
i really just wanted to buy them online.

Looks like rockers only there, but they do have a rubber floor mat, anyone buy one? How did it fit?

Ben & Goldie I know have checked their matts, seems they are ok, however if your doing a CSS restoration to the "T" the Matt had something that wasn't perfect, Goldie can you inlighten us?? As far as the Rockers, Well one of the truck owners on the Cruise had them along with him on the Cruise, they were good! priced under $40.00
doesn't www.autobodyspecialist.com have some?

I have one in my '61D 200 & '68 W200. They fit darn good..... not perfectly.... but
definitely do the job. I will probably buy one for my latest Sweptline too.

I used the ones fron auto bodyspecialities and had to some adjusting with a BFH and some cutting. But they went in ok. Just make sure you leave enough of the old floor to weld to. Part of mine was so thin I had to use epoxy on some seams. :2cents
