b-body question

Post by RH62 »

sorry not sweptline related.... My 1969 plymouth satellite station wagon.... i pulled the fuel tank after finding rust in the carburator and found the tank is rotten... no place seems to have any replacement parts for station wagons. ie tank, sending unit, or filler replacement rubbers. im looking thru ebay and the 66-67 b-body tank looks almost the exact same but it does say except wagon. i dont know where to find info if this is the same unit or what... it seems like there isnt much info on the wagons.... im getting the tank boiled out and coated already because i didnt think i could get a new tank.... any info would be appreciated if these are interchangeable parts.
thanks
Rich

I know there are univesal sending units, so maybe there are universal fuel tanks.

If u r gonna get the inside of that tank lined, u may as well get them to fiberglass the outside of it. They'll guarantee the tank for life. That's if u take it to a shop that deals with fuel tanks.

Ask for Dennis. He has a 440/4 speed wagon himself so he probably has a pretty good idea about where to find something if they don't have it.

Hey there. There are 2 wagons of that vintage down here in the local desert junkyards. One is even a big block. Write me @ dzzrtrock@ yahoo for more info. Be as specific as you can about what you have
