Door interchangablility

Post by steven »

Which doors are swappable? I know that 61-66 are the same. But what about the '67 door compared to '68-71? Is the '67 door a one year door because of the pull-handle inside, and push button outside? I found a local guy on craigslist that has a rust free '69 door, but I dont know if that will work with my '67? :thinking :thinking :thinking

If I remember right you can use the later door on your '67 and keep the same inside door handle by changing your stuff from your '67 door into the later ones. I think it has all the necessary brackets and screw holes to do that. I kept the later style insides on my doors just because I liked them better.

Thanks Russ, good to hear. As soon as I recoup from buying the electronics for my Hemi, it sounds like that will be next.

Dont know how I quoted myself, I meant to edit, lol.
