I met a guy in town with a 70 D100. Vandals slashed 3 of his tires, smashed out the driver's side window and cut his seat up. He was quoted $210 for a new window. I don't know if that was just to cut it or if installation was included. That seems like a lot. There are 2 Sweptlines at an auto salvage yard that I know of but I have no idea what they would charge and I'm sure it is no fun trying to remove them.
I was wondering if this sounds ridiculous and do the driver and passenger side windows interchange?

I just paid about $210 for tinted door glass for both doors for my D300. got it through American Restorations unlimited and installed myself. yes, they do interchange, but if you get it through them, it will take a few weeks to have it cut and shipped and it is a little thicker then the original, which makes it more difficult to get in, only downfall though, was pleased with the product.

One point that Kyle didn't mention. The glass is the same, but the channel that it sits in is reversed from side to side. You can't get a glass for the passenger side and use it on the driver side without reversing the channel. It saves a little trouble if you find the side you need.
I hope he finds out who vandalized his truck and kicks their a$$.
