Looking good Joe! Hey, could you fill us in on that Rustoleum discussion you mentioned? You got my curiousity up. (Doesn't take much really. )
One thing to point out is that if you spend the time and bucks to paint it like it deserves, you should only have to do it once. Then it will be cherry! Just don't go and do what my pop did (at first) when we repainted his; covered it with a blanket in the garage. "It's too pretty to take out."

Budget paint job
Thats the thread where I read up on it.I thank you CSS Registry you coninue to impress me. I thought this would be A good way to paint A work truck because it,s cheap tough and easy to touch up. Up here in Boston these trucks rusted up to the door handles in about 15 years and I had several of them. I wanted one to use for work and I will use it until it rots away (I will make an effort to keep it solid as long as possible) this isn't the enviorment for A high ticket paint job. I painted the grille, bumpers and wheels with rustoleum gloss white, they look good and the rims even held up good to tire mounting.I am now painting the cab roof white (not original but I like it) then I'll break out my $30 Home Depot Desert Turquiose and go to town. I spent all winter fixin the business end of this truck and would drive it anywhere tomorrow if I had enough time (4:88 gears !!!).Thanks for the kind words. KEEP EM ROLLIN !. Joe
