My 67 D200 Camper Special Crew Cab

Post by MikeZ »

Just got this beast home. Took me three days by myself. I just cleaned up the interior and I get the ignition back from the locksmith tomorrow morning. The camper needs to be rebuilt and there's surface rust and the pass-side floorboard is rotted out. So is the front of the hood and a small patch on the front pass-side door.
I hope to use it for a new gig rig (I'm a musician). It would be nice not to have to worry about the drunks at 3:00 am three or four nights a week.

What a find! And a great story to boot except for the son passing from a heart attack.

Thanx for the welcome

Like Tom Peterson says, "Free is a VERY good price."

But I'm reminded of the old horse joke:
What's the difference between a fifty dollar horse and a fifty thousand dollar horse?
One's just a bigger down payment. :thinking
