Unibody Sweptline

Post by soopernaut »

I'm referring to the bed and cab being connected, not lack of a full frame.

They were asking around $18,000, but it gone from their site, so it probably sold. I've always thought it would be cool to make a Sweptline Ramcharger, so starting with something like this might be a head start.

That 71 is very nice, but way too much money.

Yet another South American Freak! Seen those many times before. The straight body line is the giveaway.

Something shorter, more like the 74-93 Ramcharger. All of those South American SUVs seem to have long wheelbases.

I got the same rims, just no in chrome. Wonder how it handles body flex with frame flexing?

The 1961 - 1963 Ford F100 was available in a unibody configuration. I had one back in the '80s, and it was a good truck. I never noticed any body cracking on that.
