Anybody got a Dealer Emblem/Decal?

Post by 64D100Poly »

Anybody got a dealer placed emblem and/or decal? Just curious of some of the ones that are out there. They didn't seem to do it as much on trucks as they did on passenger cars..

Got a Chevy dealer on my Dodge truck. It had been painted over. I took it off and gave it to my dad as he collects things like that.

I don’t have a dealer emblem on the swept, but my 60 d100 came with a rear bumper that is engraved in large letters that says mason TX and the dealers name.
Not sure of the dealer name off hand.
It made it difficult to tell the guy I bought it from that it wasn’t from Texas when he showed me the bumper.

Most dealers back then would put a dealer callout on the cowl or fenders, on both sides. If equipped with a tailgate, one generally went there, too. I remember doing dealer prep and detailing, back in the '70s, and that is what the Chevy and Dodge truck dealers did.
