1969 D100 Shorty

Post by Sendtech »

I finally found a swepty and pounced on it like a spider monkey, This baby blue / grey SWB 318 truck came up for sale about 3 hours for me and I pounced on it, I could not believe I finally found one, and I also got a great deal, God was really looking out for me I tell you what, AMEN! I made it into the swepty club, and I was also born in 1969 . Wow. I live in the Atlanta area with my 16 year old son, he loves it.

That is a hella nice Adventurer! You have some options that are extremely scarce - turn sig indicators on the hood, chrome rear bumper and hood ornament. Also hard to find nice bucket seats like that and OMG, fabulous headliner!
Or, u might say - nice starter truck....

Nice find/buy!! Congratulations! I see you have the "vinyl" top too. Technically, it's just a pebble paint, but called vinyl. What are your plans?? Have FUN with it and thanks for posting pictures. :salut

Very nice!
I'm noticing some kind of trim on the tailgate, is this another rare factory option for the Adventurer or something after market??
