love that truck and all the work. I too am running and industrial 361 (now 371 at .060 over). also going to do flat tops and bigger cam. I might shave the heads as well.

when I compared the head to the other bb heads the ports are actually very good, the exh manifolds are really a cast iron header that is very smooth inside with perfect port match. the intake ports are about the same as the other style heads, hardened valve seats and sodium filled exh valves last forever. The valves are smaller (same size as Buick 401 nail head) but that doesn't make any difference under 6K where my engine will live. combustion chambers are huge at 100cc that is why I might shave head. the .060 overbore and the flattops will bring it up to 8.5 or so but I want a bit more.

They also came in power plants made to power multiple things.

Your truck looks great! Really appreciate all the work, time and money you've put into it. Encouraging to see how other projects are coming out, great motivation.
