The outer duals are on the bed, had to remove them at the sellers place to get the truck on my trailer.

Split rims though, so I will not re-use them.

It took a while, but that is OK.

No one makes a bed stringer kit for the 300s with the nine foot bed that I can find, so......

The originals were 2" tall C-channel.

If I go to an 11 gauge box tube, it will be stronger.

If I step up to 2 1/2" tall box tube, I can ditch the wooden bed deck and go diamond plate while keeping the bed near the stock installed height.

I can also replace the wooden side step spacers with PVC so that they never rot.

You can use white oak like Dodge originally did and it'll last
a few decades too.

I assume you looked at Mar-K Products and they don't offer anything
that you need for the 9' box.

I got my cross members from Bruce Horkey's for my 6' ute and they gave me a wrong piece. The fella said it was for a longer utiline bed. If i'm not mistaken the longer beds share some of the cross members with the shorter ones. Maybe try them if you want?

Horkey's does not have them for a 300.

ah that's too bad, I bet a guy could still rig something up. Hopefully someone on here that has one could chime in. I know there was a guy in B.C. that restored a W300 awhile back.

I disassembled a 9' and a 6' ute bed last yr. The crossmembers are identical, just more of them on the long bed.

Unlike the 1/2 and 3/4 tons, the rear frame rails are flat front to back.

The underside of the bed is flat front to back.

I have the outer ends to replicate & I know the overall length.

This will not be that hard.

The shorter dodge Ute beds do not have cross members on the rear axle hump of the frame. If anything the cross members lift up the box to clear the hump. so if the 1 tons have straight frames my guess is it wouldn't change the under structure of the Ute bed. It probably might have an extra cross member that is the same as the other ones. Just my guess

True.

The long C-channel cross members are 2" tall regardless, but the 6' bed I picked up for spare parts has 'feet' under the cross members to hold it up off the frame.

Not all of them were salvageable on that bed either though.
