Finished Interior 1971 Dodge D100

Post by LPSewptline »

Finally got the interior finished up on the truck. Had the seat done awhile back but got everything else finished up which included the carpet, headliner, visors, door panels, kick panels, new center console and finished up the space behind the seat to incorporate speakers and a sub-woofer. I'm still judging the center console and if I end up not liking it, easy enough to remove as it's not permanently attached to the truck. Sorry not the best before pic but all I had.

I don't at the moment :banghead Put the seat back in and realized didn't take any pics. Basically boxed out the area where the fuel tank was and finished it in the same material as the headliner and door panels. Put in 2 6x9 speakers and an 8in powered sub and replaced the in-dash speaker. Put a small 4 channel amp in there as well and the head unit is from RetroSound.

Regarding the sun visors, what did you do about the rubber on the ends where they snap into the clips and where did you go for the clips?

Just FYI... they didn't start the rubber tips and "clips" until the 69-71 models. Before then, there was NO metal rod extension on the visors. :salut (technically I can't say 100% on the 69 models, but I know the 70-71 had them)

It's just a thin piece of MDF covered in the same material as the headliner.
