My New D100

Post by vtd100guy »

Yes, I know the Power Wagon badges do not belong. But I love this thing. Can anyone hip me to paint code info?

And perhaps tell me what this hole is and whether there is a logical way to block it? There is another on the passenger side. (I think it may be one of the culprits letting water into cab.)

Many thanks,

Liam

:welcome You are probably talking about the cowl drains on the outside of the hood springs. Not the source of your leaks. :2cents

Back the holes with flat copper. Plug weld the holes closed. Inside will be almost smooth, since weld will flatten out and not stick to copper.

Or if you want to keep the original paint, in current condition, go to the closest real hardware store. You want smooth head stainless “locker screws” and matching washers/nuts. Outside of head is smooth, underside is textured, so... plan to leave them in place until a repaint.
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.
