68 W200 Crew

Post by Brudog »

Been a while since I posted. Truck had been at the shop for a bit getting an engine swap among other things.

Here are some pics:

Still have quite a bit to do to it, as money allows. Next up will most likely be changing some of the rubber / weather-stripping, as I found quite a few leak spots when checking it with the garden hose. Paint and body work after that...

For some reason, not all 3 pics are posting. Will try one at a time.

Yep, 61-67. That is what came with it when I got it from Glenn. I have a 68 hood that I am prepping in my intro to collision repair class. Will change them out when I get it painted.

Sweet! Definitely need some info on the Hemi swap about wiring. Did you build a harness or use Hotwire or another company? Truck looks great.

Thanks. I am not skilled enuff to do this myself, so had a local shop do it. They went through a company for the harness. Don't know the name right off hand, but I will see if I can find out for ya.

Nice progress. Looking to do the 5.7 Hemi swap. Do you know who made the harness? Are you using the stock computer or maybe EZ EFI?

Verified with the shop that did the install that Hotwire was the source of the harness, etc.
