Down by the river

Post by Hardcase »

My '61 at the car show last weekend. My wife's grandfather bought it new for his hay baler repair business and to haul everything under the sun for his farm.

Thanks to Phil Leonardson for the photo.

Shows what adequate maintenance and a relatively non-corrosive environment can do. :clap

It's a two barrel on a Super Six aluminum manifold. My seat of the pants dyno says that it helped a lot. The old one barrel carb was pretty worn.

Sold a 4BBL intake about 13 yrs ago thinking I'd never have a /6 again, then bought a 64 D100 last November with a 6 & headers :banghead
