1962 Chrysler New Yorker Wagon

Post by slick »

I picked up this 62 Wagon a few months ago. 413, push-button auto, 9 passenger. It's been parked since the early 80's. I have it running and driving. Awesome car. Needs a bunch of things, but just going to make it a nice cruiser.

I've got a thing for station wagons too. My dad drove one his entire working life - sold and serviced meat processing equipment.

My uncle saved a 62 Chrysler from the crusher for $100. It was a 413 also.

Those instrument panels were outrageous.

I love 60’ to 62’ New Yorker wagons! If you want to run 15” tires and keep your original wheel covers, Stockton Wheel can do it. Best upgrade I’ve done on my 65’ Sport Fury.

That's cool. I've always liked wagons. My parents bought wagons in the 60s since there were several of us kids. I agree. Don't paint it.
