as many of you may know my dad passed away in August 2017.
We cremated him and then with all the logistics of the VA, naval honor guard, and family we buried him on Jan 12 2018.
we used his truck for his last ride and select photos below are from the event.
RIP ol Hobe.
Ben

Re: send off for my dad
So sorry for your loss Ben, that is a very nice send off for your father and the truck is absolutely beautiful. I am sure he was very proud of you for the love and care you put into his truck.

That was a very nice gesture and thoughtful! Sorry for your loss too.
Re: send off for my dad
Quite a tribute, Ben. My dad served in the Navy as well.
I'm glad I was able to meet your dad. He was a great guy.

Sorry for your loss. What a great last ride for him.
I got my '66 from my Grandpa who purchased it brand new. We planned on carrying his casket in the back on the way to the grave site. She was the first in line behind the hearse instead. What an honor that was for me as the new owner.

Re: send off for my dad
Sorry for your loss. Just had a similar event for my Dad this past summer without a truck.
I bought my truck to work on with my son to instill in him what my Dad did with me. Maybe
one day mine will be as sweet as yours.
