Shorty sparkplugs

I recently put some shorty headers on my truck. Sparkplug cables were way to close to the headers. Some were actually touching. I'm sure a lot of you smart guys know this already, but it took some researching for me to learn this. They make shorty style sparkplugs, so if you are having clearance issues with headers might want to give them s try.

I think they do cross reference to small engines, so we'll see.

I just installed Sanderson block hugger on my 383 and went with AFIS plug wires( afispower.com/products/wire-sets) with 90 degree boots and fiberglass socks. The new AFIS boots are rated to 800 degrees. Mine set right on the headers with no heat issue.
You'll pay up for them but they will last.

Accel has a ceramic wire that withstands 2000 degrees, so that is my next option..

Not sure but they don't have much flex so you may have trouble getting them on if you have a clearance issue.
